The ECOLACT from PONSEL detects and quantifies the material losses in diary industries.
The ECOLACT, the new probe developed by PONSEL, enables dairy industries to reduce its material losses from 5.000 € to 50.000 € per month and per installation.
Its sensibility at 0,1g/L (for values up to 100 g/L), allows to detect any milk traces in the processes but moreover to quantify the material concentration.
Its objectives :
- Detect the material losses of the installations right from the start (open or defective floodgates…
- Optimization of the cleaning cycles (CIP - cleaning in place -, maximum water recycling for prewash)
- Optimization of dairy products (material saving : milk, cream, serum,…)
Thanks to the ECOLACT, milk losses can be quantified continuously and in-situ.
The ECOLACT is installed by tapping on SMS and SCAMI connection at the exit of tanks, exit of production units, or CIP (Cleaning in place). It can be rapidly positioned on another installation if needed.
The ECOLACT utilization needs a rapid calibration from a milky material sample, in order to take into account the response variation of the material (milk, serum, cream…)
The ECOLACT is a transfer from an optical sensor technology widely used in decontamination and that has been specifically adapted to dairy products. Indeed, dairy products perfectly absorb the IR beam (950 nm) used by the ECOLACT. A powerful algorithm developed by PONSEL enables to transcribe again values measured in grams of milk per liter.
Thanks to this sensor, the technical and commercial results obtained by the biggest dairy producers guarantees good prospects to the ECOLACT!
